Dr. Mohammad Saeed, looks after
NAMA, Trade Facilitation, Dispute Settlement and Environment. Before joining this Mission,
he served in the foreign trade wing of the Ministry of Commerce and negotiated
various regional trade agreements.
From 1988 to 2002, he served the Government of Pakistan
as mid level manager in Customs Administration. He implemented Tariff
and Trade Policy for about 10 years. For four years, he was the member
of the team of Central Board of Revenue responsible for formulation of
its tariff policies. He studied, implemented, formulated, and adjudicated
Customs Laws & Procedure of Pakistan .
Dr. Saeed has studied International Trade Law, Vat Laws,
Negotiation Skills and Dispute Resolution & Conflict Management. He
holds a postgraduate diploma in Economic Principles from University of
London, ITP (International Tax Programme) from Harvard Law School, and
MPA from J.F. Kennedy School of Government, Harvard University USA.
